... and answers.
What does L’Amitie mean?
Amitie’ in French is friendship therefore L’Amitie’ is The Friendship. When choosing a name for the tours I wanted the name in essence to reflect what the tours were really all about. Whilst enjoying an experience of a lifetime you will meet and make friends that I’m sure you will continue to keep in touch with afterwards hence L’Amitie Tours was born.
Why are the trips designed for women only and not couples?
Simply because this is a trip designed to allow women to do what they do best, enjoy the company of other women whilst exploring fabulous boutiques, villages and markets, chat, shop and dine on superb food over glasses of glorious wine. Lets face it – we love our men, but let’s admit it – there’s nothing quite like a girls trip to rekindle your spirit.
There are also many women for a myriad of different reasons be it the loss of a loved one, lack of a partner or simply hubby would rather golf with his buddies, that don’t have a travel partner, and as such these tours are designed to create the perfect travelling companions for you.
How much do the tours cost?
The French tour offers twin share accommodation at AUD $6490 per person, or Sole occupancy accommodation from AUD $7490 per person.
The Italian tour is AUD$6990 per person, the South Island tour is AUD$4490 and the North Island tour is AUD$2690.
The tour package is all inclusive providing all entry tickets, meals, transport, accommodation, transfers to/from the designated pickup location and gratuities. The tour does not include flights, personal spending or activities outside of those planned for the group
How many guests do you have on each tour?
L’Amitie’ Tours are not bus tours or large package tours. Instead, our selection of activities and personal attention require small groups therefore each tour has a maximum of 9 guests. Don’t worry about not knowing anyone on the tour, there will always be a number of individuals who are travelling ‘alone’, this is what the tour is all about, making friends!
